Eligibility Criteria for Appearing in PGAT

Candidates who have obtained bachelor’s degree such as B.Sc/B.A/B.Com in relevant discipline from University of Allahabad or any other UGC recognized university/institution or an equivalent degree recognized by the University of Allahabad, are permitted to apply for M.Sc/M.A/M.Com programmes respectively.

How to Apply for AU PGAT in Online Mode?

• Candidates can submit their online application form by following the respective official link of the University.
• Respective prospectus can be also downloaded from there. We instruct candidates to read the prospectus very carefully before they apply for the test.

Below I’m sharing some crucial instructions by following which you can easily apply for AU PGAT in online mode without any hassle:

• Go the respective website to apply i.e. aupravesh.org.
• Now you need to hit the button to “Apply Online”.
• Candidates are now required to opt the class they would like to appear for in the entrance exam.
• You’ll find four buttons over there consisting online application form, downloading the information brochure, printing application form/challan.
• Read all instructions furnished over there and click the button to agree and accept.
• Once you click the “Apply Online” button, the application form would be displayed on the screen.
• Now fill up the application form correctly and by following the official brochure.
• Now you need to upload the photograph and signature at the requisite place of the application form.
• Now get a preview of your application form and if all information is correct then you can proceed to submit the form.

Now comes to the payment of application fee, you can make the necessary payment either through HDFC bank challan or by using debit card/credit card/net banking.

Exam Pattern

Important instructions regarding AU PGAT exam pattern are described below:

• Three hours of time would be given for M.A and M.Sc programme (1.30 hour for each programme).
• 30 hours of time would be given for programmes such as M.Sc Biochemistry, M.A/M.Sc Anthropology, M.Com, M.Sc Agriculture Science, M.A Mass Communication and M.Sc. Computer Science.
• 15 minutes of time will be given additionally to candidates for distribution of booklet and filling up the necessary info on answer booklet.
• Candidates will find combined booklets each for M.Sc and M.A programmes.
• Candidates will find separate question paper for M.Sc/M.A Anthropology, M.Com, M.Sc Agriculture Sciences, M.Sc Biochemistry, M.A Mass Communication and M.Sc Computer Science.
• Question paper pattern will be identical for all the subjects.

Admit Card

Candidates who have completed the registration and application procedure successfully can download their admit card by following the official website of Allahabad University entrance exam 2022. One can download his/her admit card by entering information such as application ID and date of birth. Admit card for AU PGAT 2022 will be uploaded in the month of July 2022. Please keep in the mind that the admit card will be sent via post or available at any counter.
