AU LFAT 2021- Law Faculty Admission Test

AU LFAT- Allahabad University conducts Law Faculty Admission Test every year for aspirants seeking admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Five Year Integrated Course. In the year 2021, candidates can get LFAT application form from April 2021 and examination is possible to be conducted in between May to June 2021.

If you belong to General and other backward community then your age should not exceed 20 years whereas, the authority has specified the age limit for SC/ST category is 22 years.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should pass in 10+2 or 11+1 or an equivalent exam recognized by the University of Allahabad with minimum 45% marks (for General and Other Backward classes) and 40% (for SC/ST) in order to apply for LFAT.

How to Apply for AU LFAT?

Here are necessary instructions you need to follow in order to apply for AU LFAT exam, please have a look:

  • Get access of the official website i.e. aupravesh.org and hit the button to apply online.
  • Now you need to opt the class in which you’d like to appear in the test.
  • After opening the respective website, links for online application form, downloading the information brochure, printing challan/application form and printing admit card will be available over there.
  • Now read the instructions mentioned over there and hit the button to agree and accept.
  • Once you click the “Apply Online” link the form will be displayed on the screen.
  • All those columns which are marked with red asterisk must be filled by you.
  • Now upload the scanned copy of your photograph and signature in the recommend format.
  • Once you finish with filling up all necessary information take a preview before you submit.
  • If the form is appropriately filled and there are no mistakes over there then you can proceed with submission of your application.

Candidates need to make the payment of application fee (Rs. 1200/- for General/OBC and Rs. 600/- for PH/SC/ST) either in online mode by using credit card/debit card/net banking or through HDFC bank challan.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

You can find below all info related to the LFAT exam pattern:

  • There will be three papers in the exam namely Paper 1 (Language Comprehension), Paper II (General Awareness) and Paper III (Current Affairs and Reasoning, Mental Ability and Legal Aptitude).
  • Each paper would be of maximum 100 marks.
  • There will be 100 objective type questions in each Paper I and Paper II. Every questions will carry 1 mark and deduction of 1/3 marks will be done for every incorrect response.
  • Paper II will contain 50 objective type questions and each will carry 2 marks. If you’ve marked one incorrect answer then 2/3 marks gets deducted.

Syllabus

  • Paper 1 (Language Comprehension): In this section your depth in English and Hindi language will be verified in terms of English Grammar and Composition.
  • Paper II (General Awareness): The section is designed to check students’ knowledge and awareness on current national and international affairs.
  • Paper III (Current Affairs and Reasoning, Mental Ability and Legal Aptitude): Your mental ability, reasoning power and legal aptitude would be verified in this section.

AU LFAT 2021 Result

Students those have appeared in AU LFAT exam can expect their result in the month of June 2021. In future if the University will make any changes in publication date of the result the same will be updated here in this article.
